AUDITION FOR YDI ANN ARBOR
YDI is designed to supplement training with a dance school of choice for dancers in grades 9-12. Potential members must audition for placement into the program. Upon auditioning, those who demonstrate technical excellence will be invited to an interview with the director. Parents are required to attend the second half of the interview. The company will meet on Sundays in Ann Arbor, MI where members will participate in contemporary classes, followed by rehearsals and/or seminars. An annual membership fee is required with a 5-month contract, in which the contract period focuses on building a unique contemporary dance concert to be presented in December.

Training Requirements Weekly Open Class Attendance Time: 1pm - 5pm Day: Sundays (August - December) Location: 3777 Plaza Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48108 Supplemental Training Minimum of two advanced ballet and one advanced modern class per week at a school of choice. Additional study in jazz dance and improvisation are highly encouraged.
