Home studio:  Haja Dance Company

Meghan has been dancing since the age of three. Her love for dance has only multiplied since she started dancing competitively around the age of 11 when she began taking many masterclasses through various competition circuits. Throughout her years of dancing, she has prided herself in her efforts to remain as versatile as possible. She has taken classes from a variety of artists such as Sean Howe, Chelsea Thedinga, Alex Wong, and Marissa Milele to name a few. She has trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, modern, and composition. Just recently, she became a member of Haja Dance Company and will be performing in various performances choreographed by Point Park’s  “Tomayko Choreography Award” winner, Nina Pollzzie. She has also performed pieces composed by Jodie Randolph and Kylie Vinitski in various festivals around the Detroit area, including Brighton Dance Festival. Aside from dance, Meghan has an eye for all things marketing, she has been interning for YDI’s various social media accounts. She hopes to keep learning and growing in that realm. Post graduation she hopes to major in dance with a minor in marketing. Meghan is so grateful for YDI and cannot wait to see where her second and final year of YDI will take her!
