Home studio:  Excel Dance Centre

Charli Clark began dancing at the age of 3. She joined her current studio, Excel Dance Centre at the age of 6. She is in her freshman year and has studied many different dance styles throughout her time at Excel including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, liturgical, modern, and contemporary. Charli has been an Excel company member for 6 years and is in her second year with Excel's pre-professional program Xpression. Charli performed as a bonbon and a reed flute in the last performance of the Nutcracker at Excel. She earned the coveted role as the Sugar Plum Fairy in her 8th-grade year at the Gagie School's annual performance of A Christmas Carol. In 2019 she danced in Walt Disney World's Christmas Parade. Charli is currently a part of the National Honors Society of Dance Arts and assists a class at Excel once a week. Charli has worked with numerous artists including Carley Ballett, Lauren Donahue, Kyra Laster, Kelsey Paschich, Kate Myers and Kaitlyn Pollock. Charli is very excited to be a part of the training track company for her first year with Young Dancers Initiative for their eleventh season!
