After relocating to Battle Creek, Michigan, Amina continued her dance instruction at Dance in Motion Dance Studio, a competitive team located in Battle Creek, Michigan. After three years of competing, Amina began training strictly in ballet at Ballet Kalamazoo (2019–2022). During her time at Ballet Kalamazoo, Amina was cast in lead roles in several of the company's ballets. During the 2021–22 season, Amina was cast as the Sugar Plum Fairy. In that same season, Amina had the opportunity to compete at the YAGP Ballet Competition in Chicago, IL. In the fall of 2022, Amina transitioned to The Space Dance Co., a pre-professional company located in Schoolcraft, MI, where she is a founding member. Since joining The Space, Amina has been exposed to many emerging artists. Amina has participated in several summer dance intensives, which include Complexions Contemporary Ballet (2022), Dance Theatre of Harlem (2021), Interlochen (2019 and 2020), and most recently, the Young Dancer Initiative (2023). Throughout Amina’s 12 years of dance training, she has had the opportunity to study a variety of dance modalities, including ballet, pointe, hip hop, acro, jazz, modern, musical theater, and contemporary; and Amina has had the opportunity to work with the following artists: Joan Myers Brown, Eun Kyung, Seyong Kim, Katie Dorn, Joseph Morrissey, Jurjis Safonovs, Rachel James, Meg Paul (Complexions), TDA Prep, Ailey Extension, Robert Garland (DTH), Amanda Smith (DTH), and Tye Chua Dance (Eugene Chua).
