Home studio: Excel Dance Centre

Addison Bushart began dancing at the young age of three. Her first dance experience was through the YMCA, taking ballet, gym, and tap. She expanded her dance knowledge by going to many different studios before landing at her current home studio, Excel Dance Centre. Throughout her almost 15 years of dancing, she has trained in many styles including ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, jazz, modern, acro, liturgical, lyrical, and contemporary. She has enjoyed performing with her studio and traveling to many big events such as dancing at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Nashville, and more. Addison is a well-rounded, trained dancer, attending many masterclasses and performing at conventions since she was in 6th grade. Currently, she is on Company, YTAP, a part of the NSHDA program, and on pre-professional teams such as XLR8, and  XPressions, at Excel Dance Centre. She has attended ASH Nationals in Orlando twice, and last year was awarded the Apprenticeship Award, and other award recognitions at ASH Regionals in Chicago. Addison also enjoys extracurricular activities at her high school, playing Tennis in the Spring. She is entering her first year with the YDI Company and is very excited to continue her love and passion for dance and performing.
